As a Certified B-Corp, we believe in doing our best for the world, creating a good life for all, through beauty, ethics, and sustainability.
We have rewritten our way of doing business, looking at business as a positive force capable of generating profit and at the same time creating a virtuous impact on people and the environment.

The B Corp movement is about businesses working together to affect positive change - and every one of our customers plays an important role in that. One way we do this is through the B Beauty Coalition, which we launched to help improve sustainability standards in the beauty industry and which now has over 70 members.Together we are committed to sharing knowledge and best practice in order to champion a new approach to beauty. This approach prioritises the soil as much as skin, evidence as much as ego, and impact as much as performance.

Our B Corp journey
Becoming a certified B Corporation requires businesses to go through an evaluation process to quantify their sustainability efforts and ensure they’re putting their values into practice. When we gained our certification in 2016, we had a score of 99 and, when we recertified three years later in 2019, we had improved this to 117.4. And today, in 2024, we are happy to share that our new B Corp score is 123.5. Click on the link below to learn more.

Ever since Davines was formed in 1983, we have believed in the power of beauty to make a difference. By making beauty more sustainable, we encourage people to take care of themselves, of the environment, and of the things they love.
As a certified B corporation since 2016, we are committed to using our business as a force for good, going beyond a focus on profits, and prioritising ethical business practices, community wellbeing, and environmental commitment.
Our B Corp journey
Becoming a B Corp is a rigorous process, with 300+ questions to answer as well as an interview. With a total of 200 points available, the minimum score for entry is 80 - the average business would achieve between 50 and 55.
- 2016: Davines certified with 99.3 points
- 2020: Recertified with 117.4 points
- 2023: Recertified with 123.5 points
